Patch 13 - Animations, Melee changes

• There is no longer a delay on using moongates.
• Weapon swing (and delay) animations are now scaled to dexterity.
• A few animations have been corrected to match the era.
• You may now places houses over small patches of dirt.

Welcome to the new home of Genesis. We have updated our web page and will be adding new content soon. This is the first step in our web page overhaul, with many more steps to come.

The staff at uogenesis.com remains commited to providing the ultimate Pre-T2A experience. Enjoy the old-school feel with enough added enhancements to make the game enjoyable for any type of gamer.

What is Genesis?

Genesis is an Ultima Online Free Shard based in the Pre-T2A Era with some added enhancements to make things a little bit more interesting.

Every change made to the shard has been made with the goal of maintaining the Wild-West feel of the Pre-T2A Era. This will continue to be the case as we move forward.

New Players will find themselves challenged by the difficulty of Genesis, but will learn that there is no greater feeling than actually earning your way in a difficult world.

Endless adventures await you as this world evolves over time. Join the forces of good, or the hordes of darkness, or make your way as a crafter or a fisher, the choice is yours.

Seek out others to join you in your adventures, for this era was the era of the Community. Unlike other versions of Ultima Online, where skill gain became easier, skills could be locked and GrandMaster Crafters became common, in this era a Crafter of high skill is someone to be respected.

In addition to being the era of the Community, this was the Era of the Dread Lords & Ladies, as well as the era of the Thieves. Guard thy goods well, for in this time nowhere is safe!  Not only does no other Era of Ultima Online compare to the Pre-T2A Era in regards to risk, no other game has created a setting to match that of this Era.

Some may not be interested in playing in a world such as this.  Some may feel that allowing unchecked thievery and player-killing ruins their gaming experience. For those players, there are plenty of marshmallow worlds out there for you to play in.  For those that seek True Adventure, with True Risk, give Genesis a try.  Join in the building of what will be a very special world.
